Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone and we wish you all a wonderful holiday season. This has been such a wonderful year. Having Jaycie in our family has added so much happiness and laughter. This next year will present us with many new opportunities. As most of you know we are moving to Boston the beginning of next month. We are really excited to start this new chapter of our lives. Curtis has been accepted to a great architecture school called Boston Architectural College. It is rated one of the top 20 schools in the nation. This will be such a blessing for him as he persues his aspirations of becoming an architect. We are so proud of him!!! BTW this would have been the photo on our christmas card this year, but with the move and all it's $$$ this will have to do:)

Thanksgiving Point

Last weekend we went to Thanksgiving Point to see the animals. We went on a wagon ride, pet the animals, ate some delicious food, then went to the gift shops. The last picture is going to be my new project for Jaycie's room. I want to make her a cool vintage chandelier for her new room. If anyone has any ideas on places to buy these supplies let me know.

Halloween

"Pinned ya Triston!" Jaycie's cousin was born a day after her and weighs twice as much. He sure is cute. He already fits in size 7 shoes and wears a 2T. Jaycie doesn't believe in picking on someone her own size:)
The older I get the less creative I am with dressing up for Halloween . These are just some clothes we already had. I got this cool nursing dress from a friend from one of my nursing jobs. She is from Louisiana and actually wore stuff like this back home. Jaycie wore the best costume. She was our baby ballerina. I enjoyed making her tutu for Halloween. Kids make the holidays so much better.

Every year we get to dress up for work. Here is one of our poses in PACU! The lady standing next to me on the end is pregnant and wanted me to hide her belly. I think I ended up doing the pregnant pose for the camera.

Hoggle Zoo with my twin Carter

How adorable is this picture of the baby elephant? We went during the best time of the year. We got to see the baby elephant playing with his ball along with other baby animals. I love going to the zoo in the fall. It really is a beautiful time to go and less crowded. About my daughter having a twin- Jaycie and Carter are just a few days apart. They almost look like they could pass off as twins.

Yay! I have hair to style now.

Okay... I have a confession to make. I wasn't the one to do Jaycie's hair. Her sweet babysitter styled it for me. To be honest, I don't like putting her hair up because it makes her cry. Curtis does a sweet job putting her hair up all cute. I think I will avoid this conflict while I can. Once her hair looks like a rats nest I will officially start doing something about it. For now the fluffy top can do:)

UVSC Running Buddies

My friend Tricia, the girl with the black vest, had a birthday party at Speghetti Mamas. It was so much fun to get together and catch up. All of us ran for UVSC , now called UVU in 2003-2004 . Time has gone by so fast. I am so grateful to have been part of such an amazing team. All of us have stayed friends over the years and hopefully forever. We have so many memories together. Now we get to swap stories about pregnancy, babies, and all that girlie... guys don't want to hear about stuff. Thank you Kylie for coming to the birthday party just a few days before your due date:)

Jaycie & Neacel @ Gardner Village

These two have been friends since they were babes, even before that, from the time they were squished in their mommies bellies. They had so much fun crawling around on the grass together. Mandy and I had to keep our kids from eating dirt/rocks. I really don't want to have to bring my daughter to Same Day Surgery to remove something from her stomach. Behave little one!
